5v power supply basics

1. Working on a 3.3 ~ 12V power supply

It’s been awhile since my last update but recently I decided to build a power supply. I got some help from a grad student who is also a computer engineering major. He walked me through the steps for building a basic power supply. The power supply was originally only suppose to output 5V but now i want to make it 3.3 ~ 12V and also display the output. The varying output was a bit easy to modify (a different voltage regulator , caps, and transformer) but the output voltage display is a bit complicated. I still haven’t completed designed it but I will post it when I get the final schematic done. Also, I wanted to create this power supply so I can replace more ghetto cardboard box one.
